This installation belongs to Arduino Boards Series, which includes various other moving works. It’s
inspired by the famous book by John Steinbeck, precisely by its title.
The little animal is protected by a sort of straitjacket and a Hannibal Lecter style mask. It is
caressed by two hands which moves automatically.
The protagonist of the novel is a very strong and good man, who loves animals but, when he
caresses them, he inadvertently kills them.
