“DUALISM”
2022 - 100X70 - corn powder with acrilic paint, silkscreen on iron sheet, iron spring, screw
This is a painting partly created on hardboard with corn dust and acrylic paint, and partly
on silkscreen on iron sheet. It represents a woman and a churchman cut in half by the two
different painting techniques. It wants to depict the historical dualism between Witch and
Mother, and the religious dualism whose ambiguity does not need to be explained. The
frame reinforces this concept, because it is expanded by springs and compressed by
screws.
